No matter what I'm told
it's time to stand up
time to be bold.
Its too easy to be defeated.
The waters are high, 
the clouds are thick, 
but I've got to open my eyes
and see the masterpiece.
Its too easy to be defeated.
Beat, broken down, 
the time is now,
its swim or drown. 
Its too easy to be defeated
who am I?
Am I worth the pain? 
All these tears cried;
but one peak of light, 
a lone spark and fear trembles.
Dry your eyes child, 
for you are a masterpiece.
Its too easy to be defeated. 
But life is too beautiful to waste.
There comes a time
when trial evolves,
challenge becomes sweet. 
Yet, the world still spins
and darkness creeps in.
Its a slippery slope,
too easy to fall in.
But rise again child, 
for you are stronger than the pain.
You are brighter than the darkness.
Your are greater than you know.
Don't ever let go.
